What you give us
Your name and email, so you can sign in. Your business name, address, opening hours, services, and prices. The WhatsApp number you connect, and the identifier Meta uses for it.
Privacy
UrusGent answers your customers on WhatsApp using details you enter. Doing that means holding two kinds of information: what you tell us about your business, and what your customers send you. Last updated 13 August 2026.
Your name and email, so you can sign in. Your business name, address, opening hours, services, and prices. The WhatsApp number you connect, and the identifier Meta uses for it.
When someone messages your WhatsApp number, we store the message, when it arrived, and an identifier Meta gives us for that person. If they send a photo or a document we store its type and Meta’s reference for it, not the file.
Meta gives each business a different identifier for the same person. The one we hold for a customer of yours means nothing to any other business on UrusGent, and we cannot use it to recognise them elsewhere. That is a property of how Meta issues it, not a promise we are making on top.
Meta carries every message, in both directions. To draft a reply we send the text of the customer’s message and your business details to an AI provider; the provider returns wording and does not decide your prices, your hours, or whether a slot is free. Those come from your own records. Clerk handles sign-in and holds your email. We use no advertising or analytics trackers, and we sell nothing to anyone.
We keep messages until you ask us to delete them. Write to hello@urusgent.com and we will remove one customer’s messages, or everything belonging to your business, and confirm when it is done.
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to withdraw consent. Your customers have the same rights over their messages, and you are the one who decides what happens to those. Ask us at the address above and we will act on it.
Your data sits in a Postgres database we run. Meta and the AI provider both operate outside Malaysia, so a message crosses a border on its way to and from your customer.
When this changes we will update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with messages already stored, we will email you before it takes effect.
Questions about any of this go to hello@urusgent.com.
